What To Do With Superfoods - Kiwi Edition

The old sane goes; good things come in small packages. The kiwi is proof of that; this little green fruit is one of the most nutritionally dense fruits you can eat. They also can help aid in digestion, which is a bonus if you suffer from a lot of bloating.

The kiwi packs around 5 percent of the daily recommended amount of folate and over 115 percent of daily vitamin C. Plus, this green fruit provides 38 percent of the recommended daily intake of vitamin K, a nutrient often missing from people’s diets altogether. Vitamin K is essential for bodily functions like normal blood clotting. Kiwi's also contains less sugar than other fruits.

The problem with superfoods is figuring out what to make. We wanted to share a smoothie, kid-friendly acai bowl, and a refreshing mask that you could eat on toast if you felt so inclined.
